Where are you based?

I'm based in Melbourne, Australia but I absolutely love to travel and am available for weddings and events all over the globe. I've recently shot weddings in Italy and France, but no city is too far! I would be thrilled to join you on the adventure that is your love story.

How would you describe your style?

I love to capture people's stories. For me, that means a natural, relaxed documentary-style approach to photographing your wedding. I strive to capture the emotion and energy of your special day, and all the raw and honest moments in between.

Can we meet you?

Of course! I’d love to meet you and hear more about what you have in mind for your big day. We can arrange a time for you to drop into my studio in Malvern (Melbourne). Otherwise if getting there is a bit of a mission we can easily organise a chat over the phone or a video call.

What do we receive?

  • A Jeremy Blode Photography Welcome Pack will be emailed to you upon booking to assist you with your timeline and help you to get the most out of your photography, along with a guide to the best wedding vendors.

  • A pre wedding meeting at my studio in Malvern or phone/video call to get to know each other and discuss the perfect timeline for your special day.

  • Unlimited email / phone contact leading up to the big day to ensure nothing is missed.

  • Selected photographic coverage.

  • Your collection of individually edited images in high resolution, both in rich colour and classic black+white on a USB, delivered to your door in a bespoke package.

  • An online gallery to share your full collection of photos with family and friends.

  • 10 x fine art 5” x 7” prints.

Do you make albums?

Absolutely! I think there's something so special about seeing your big day in print, and you just can’t compare the feeling of turning a page and seeing your special moments with scrolling on Instagram or clicking through your hard drive.

I offer beautifully crafted, leather-cover fine art albums that are custom-designed to tell the story of your day. They are printed on luxurious paper with archival ink so you can cherish those memories for a lifetime. I also offer discounts when you order an album with your photography package, and am more than happy to show you a selection of album examples during our meeting. They truly make the most beautiful keepsake, I can’t recommend them enough! Check them out here.

Do you travel interstate / overseas for weddings?

Yes, yes, yes! I love to photograph weddings in unique locations, so whether your wedding is in country Victoria, interstate or overseas, I'd love to help! Please get in touch via the contact page so we can chat. Travel costs vary depending on where we're both located in the world at the time, but I'm often travelling myself so I may be closer than you think! I also have family in Queensland, Australia, so if you're getting married in Noosa, Byron Bay or the Gold Coast I may well be just a short drive away.

 
 

We are shy / awkward and don’t like being in front of the camera…

I know how you feel, I am too. But don't worry, you'll soon forget I'm even there as we relax into the day. My role is to be in the background, unobtrusive but always working to capture you in the most natural way, catching the genuine laughter, quiet romantic moments, tears and joy. I will offer some direction if needed but I love to keep it as genuine as possible and just let you be yourselves.

Do you offer videography as well? And are you able to recommend other wedding / event suppliers?

I don't offer videography, but I do know some great videographers that I would love to recommend. I've also had the privilege of working with many fantastic caterers, florists, venues, make-up artists, stylists and planners. How do we book? Can you pencil in the date?

To book, please get in touch via the contact page. From there I can send through my pricing and availability for your date. A deposit will secure your booking and the day is all yours. Unfortunately due to the number of enquiries that I receive I'm unable to hold dates without a deposit. Sorry!
